We are what we put out into the world. And moving out and through a time that has been extremely stressful, we’ve found solace in the outdoors — and in the sometimes surprising acts of kindness we’ve encountered while we’re out there. For an upcoming summer episode of She Explores, we want to know:
Here are some prompts to get you thinking:
Of course, as we’ve talked about on the podcast — we bring the good and the bad of society with us into the outdoors. It’s not a utopia, or a place we can escape systemic issues. But kindness can create a chain reaction that has long-term impacts.
Please submit a 1-2 minute (MAX) voice memo below or leave a voice mail via 617-917-4721 for possible inclusion in the episode. Note, this isn’t an application for an interview — it’s a stand-alone story that may or may not be featured in the final edit. Here’s an example of an episode from last year that includes voice submissions so you can hear how you might sound.
First names will be used within the body of the episode, full names (as requested) will be listed at the end and linked in show notes. We may not be able to include all the submissions, but will listen to each and every one!
DEADLINE EXTENDED: Submission close EOD Wednesday, July 21st

Note: By submitting a voice memo or written submission, you’re giving She-Explores.com and She Explores podcast permission to publish and/or lightly edit your voice and words in part or entirety.
Recording Tips: As tricky as it is to do, try to forget about the fact that you’re recording. Hold your phone/microphone away from your mouth. Talk like you’re telling a story to a friend. Listen back and forgive yourself the sound of your own voice – you’re the only one who feels that way about it <3
