“Art has been my ‘center’ for as long as I can remember. I feel I’m my best self when I am looking at, discussing, thinking about and creating art. I believe there is nothing better than getting lost in your work, going inward to create a reflection of the soul, then sharing it with someone else. I’ve worked with a variety of media, but it’s the spontaneity and immediacy of watercolor that feels the most organic to me. Allowing the watercolors to have a life of their own, as they bleed together and slowly bloom, is liberating to me — It’s an act of letting go.”
