What Are You Looking Forward to in Your Outdoor Life in 2019?

Submit Your Story for the last She Explores Podcast Episode of 2018!

We want to end 2018 on a positive note and we thought what better way to do that than to reach out to you and get a feel for what you’re looking forward to in your outdoor life in 2019? It’s a question we often ask guests on the show, and it’s a purposefully vague prompt. 2019 is a wide open trail in front of us: how do you hope to fill it?

We want to hear your thoughts for our last episode of She Explores in 2018! Submissions are closed.

Here are some additional prompts to get you started:

  1. Share an outdoor story from this year and what you’ve learned from it. How will you bring those lessons into 2019?
  2. Are you hoping to take up a new skill? To become more tapped into local politics as it relates to land advocacy? Or brush up on indigenous land history?
  3. Is there anyone you want to introduce to your outdoor life?
  4. Any big trips planned (river rafting, backpacking, etc)? Or are you embracing resources closer to home?

Recording Tips: As tricky as it is to do, try to forget about the recorder. Talk like you’re telling a story to a friend. Listen back and forgive yourself the sound of your own voice – you’re the only one who feels that way about it <3

How do I record a voice memo? You can do this on your phone or on your laptop. There should be a voice recording app on your phone from which you can export a file. Otherwise, look on your laptop for a program like QuickTime and create a new audio recording file. Upload the file(s) to a file sharing service like dropbox or google drive and share the link in the form.
