I’m from Rome, Italy and one of my favourite places in the world is a small, medieval town called Anguillara, a place that I visited regularly as a little girl with my grandparents—nestled on a small cape on the coast of Lake Bracciano.
Whenever I travel back home it is always one of my first stops. Exploring Anguillara during the after-lunch “pisolino” is my preferred time to visit. The town is incredibly quiet and still, only occasionally hearing a baby cry or a woman scolding her husband. Anguillara holds many wonderful childhood memories for me and thought it only be appropriate to document a small part of the ancient town and its surroundings.
Seeing it in a different light through my third eye has been like discovering it for the first time all over again.
