Rocky Mountain National Park

Rocky Mountain National Park is proof that some excursions don’t warrant words.  My boyfriend and I needed a route to Salt Lake City, Utah – but we were sick of interstate highways. We wanted to see something.  Pouring over the map, we noticed a road that went straight through the Rocky Mountains.  I learned on the way – we didn’t drive through, we drove up and over.

Scroll through the photos below and get up to 11,000 feet, watch a storm blow through, and hang your head out the car window.  It’s worth it.
